La Cresta

Orkestrònia is a living project in expansion, conceived and created by Alex Rigol, under the name of “cía. La Cresta”.
Its route in the street arts is through the company “Elpajarojocs” (www.elpajarojocs.com). Large-format family games installations, of which he is the creator and promoter since 2014.
His interest in creating play materials has always been largely inspired by his children. Until now, following their needs and concerns, he has been creating different materials and interactive installations, but the time has come to take a leap forward.
Their interests have been changing and this has led her to design and build a material aimed at young and adult audiences.
Taking advantage of this change of direction in his trajectory and seeing the notorious differences with his previous projects, he has decided to change the name of the company.
Alex Rigol: “I always try to do projects that I am passionate about. My passion for music
and its margins, has led me to build this new material: “Orkestrònia”.
An installation that has taken on a life of its own and also sounds on stage in the format of an experimental music show.
A project born out of a desire to experiment and discover with music and sounds, and with the will to create spaces and atmospheres for personal enjoyment, sharing the experience with all of you”.

Chaos Lab

Chaos Lab is an interactive sound installation where the audience experiments with author’s electroacoustic instruments. Each instrument sounds independently and is explored individually or in pairs using headphones, creating an immersive and personalized experience. Additionally, participants can modulate the sound in real-time using effect pedals, altering its texture and opening up new expressive possibilities. This proposal is an evolution of the Chaos Machine installation, but here the collective dialogue fragments into multiple parallel narratives. The space transforms into a sound laboratory where every action has unique consequences, reinforcing the connection between chaos and creativity. Improvisation remains the driving force of the project, shaping a constantly mutating sound landscape.

CHAOS MACHINE

An interactive and collective sound installation. Through experimental musical instruments, the participants become active agents within a system that highlights that we live immersed in chaos and that pretending to be in control of our destiny is either vanity or pure illusion. A collective performative act that claims an interconnection between apparently isolated events and the idea that unpredictability creatively drives the generation of new events.

Introscòpia

The shadow of control.

Introscòpia is an interactive installation that invites people to view themselves through surveillance. Inspired by artists such as Muntadas, Steyerl, and Calle, it reflects on privacy, technocracy, and control. The visitor observes their reflection in real time, highlighting how self-observation can become a form of subtle power.

Introscòpia refers to the act of looking at oneself, of observing one’s inner self to understand oneself. The work is structured around Foucault’s theory of the panopticon, altering participants’ behavior in response to the certainty or assumption of being watched. Drawing on Judith Butler’s concept of performativity, it questions whether identity is a repetition of behaviors influenced by surveillance and a mediated system. The emphasis lies on self-surveillance, exploring to the point of absurdity the notion of performing without visible external control.
