Synopsis
ANGELA analyzes, studies and compares everything that rises. She is obsessed with FLYING and her greatest desire is to reach heaven so that she can hug her deads.
In the format of a body plastic conference (which mixes circus, text, feathers, water and chalk) Ángela invites us to enter into her workshop and make us participants in this JOURNEY

Magí Camps, la VANGUARDIA,. “In Tàrrega, ducks put on shows”
In the same vein, Sílvia Capell has premiered Ángela, a kind of master class on birds, humans and the desire to fly, between acrobatics and a very well crafted speech by the circus artist.

Silvia Capell does chinese pole, and Ángela gives us a lecture (performative, obviously) full of feathers and movement. I saw the first performance (world premiere) in
Cal Trepat, with a thunderstorm that served as a scenographic background. Capell is very funny playing the hyper-motivated speaker (“Do you understand? Yes? Perfect!”) answering the questions herself and making plaster graphics on the chalkboard walls that delimit the space. I’m sure that with a few gigs it will be polished, but it is worth highlighting Capell’s great qualities as an actress: when a dance or circus artist starts talking, sometimes we start to tremble. This is not the case with Silvia.
